Dr. Gazeas appointed to Scientific Advisory Board at Munich’s LMU Faculty of Law
Dr. Nikolaos Gazeas has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Institute for Digitization and the Law of Homeland Security (IDRIS) at the Faculty of Law of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
The Institute, which is headed by Prof. Dr. Mark A. Zöller, is a research unit at the Faculty of Law of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. The task of the research center is to promote and deepen interdisciplinary research and teaching in the areas of criminal law, criminal procedure law, police law, and intelligence law, with special consideration of the overall society-wide digitization process and including European and international references.
The purpose of the Scientific Advisory Board is to support the research unit in the performance of its tasks by making recommendations and providing advice on scientific matters.
In addition to Dr. Gazeas, the members of the Scientific Advisory Board from the legal profession of attorneys at law are the attorneys Hanns W. Feigen (law firm Feigen Graf) and Prof. Dr. Björn Gercke (law firm Gercke Wollschläger), as well as other renowned members from science, police practice and ministries.
